The Margot Bralette was inspired by one of fashion's most important inventions. In 1914, Mary Phelps Jacob created one of the first modern bras using silk ribbon and handkerchiefs, offering women a lighter, more comfortable alternative to the restrictive corsets of the time. More than a century later, her spirit of balancing comfort with beauty continues to inspire us.
